1. Which musical instrument do you like listening to most? (Why?)

My favorite musical instrument to listen to is the guitar. I like the fact that there are different types of guitar, like classical, acoustic and electric. I love the variety of sounds a guitar can make.

Well, I'm a big fan of guitar, especially acoustic guitar. It's so relaxing and soothing listening to a song played by a great guitarist like Sungha Jung. I can relieve my stress very quickly.

2. Have you ever learned to play a musical instrument?

I took some guitar lessons when I was younger and still have a guitar at home. I don't play it much nowadays. I wish I had more time to practice.

Yes, I've been learning guitar for a few months. I got an inspiration to learn how to play acoustic guitar from one of my best friends in college. We were studying abroad in the United States, so sometimes we, a group of Vietnamese students, gathered together and have some fun time. Playing guitar was one of our favorite activities that we often did together.

3. Do you think children should learn to play an instrument at school?

Yes, I think it's a great skill and it's really enjoyable to be able to play a musical instrument. All children should be given this opportunity.

Yes, definitely. I think learning to play a musical instrument such as guitar, piano, violin, to name a few is a good way to relieve stress and have a break from tedious works at school. Furthermore, playing guitar when they are young is helpful for their brain and helps develop their characteristics.

4. How easy would it be to learn to play an instrument without a teacher?

It would probably be more difficult without a teacher. You need someone to show you what to do and correct your mistakes. You need a lot of discipline to teach yourself.

You can learn how to play a musical instrument at home without a teacher easily by learning from many experts or professional players in the Internet, especially on Youtube. I've learned how to play guitar myself from Youtube. It's a lot of fun and rewarding when you can play a song confidently.
